Wait and See
It never felt like this before
Cause I’m forever wanting more and more
I’m always finding something wrong
For way too long
But that’s gone
Cause I found just where I had wanted to be
This hasn’t been my history
And even though this may not last
I’m happy to wait and see
Where this new road is going to lead
And it may take it’s toll on me
That’s a chance I’ve got to take
To find out what this can be
So many things she thinks she can change
Parts of me she can not tame
Or even ever rearrange
But I can meet her half way there and do my share
I’ll stay here
Cause I found just where I had wanted to be
This hasn’t been my history
And even though this may not last

That’s a chance I’d have to take
To find out what we could be
I’ve come this far and I don’t want to go back
Never thought I’d be saying that
