MAY

A new song has been added to the catalog. Listen to “I Never Let You Go” by David Worby and John Randall (Brad Paisley) and John Wiggins.

APRIL

David signed a publishing deal with Wrensong Music in Nashville. He is also working with Major Bob Music.

UK Recording artist Nicolette Street joined David at Birdland in NYC on March 10th and sang the duet “You Must Have Read My Mind” as part of David’s performance there.

David has written new songs with Karen Staley and Sally Barris which will be posted to this website soon.

MARCH

David will be spending time in Nashville this month writing some new songs and putting the finishing touches on a new composition he wrote with noted songwriters John Randall (Brad Paisley) and John Wiggins.

FEBRUARY

JANUARY 2008

Happy 2008! We’ve added a new song to the catalog. Listen to “Your Rain” by David Worby.

David is working on more new songs and other exciting projects for 2008 so stay tuned to this website. Meanwhile here is a look back at 2007.

David has inked a deal with Wrensong Publishing in Nashville to represent part of his catalog.

David returned to the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville to perform several of his new songs and old favorites on October 19th.

Hilary Kole performed several of David’s songs in concert at the famous Birdland club in New York on October 24th and 25th.

The American Cancer Society presented David with the “American Cancer Society 2007 Leadership & Humanitarian Award” and hosted a special evening of Jazz in his honor, for all of his outstanding work helping the 9/11 first responders.

David was unanimously elected to the Board of Directors of the National Symphony Orchestra.

David Worby and David Allds of Flatlanders Music Publishing Group of Nashville joined publishing forces, for appearances on the main stage at the Nashville Song Writers Festival held June 13th –17th.

JANUARY 2007

Happy 2007! We have lots of exciting new projects lined up for the year. Meanwhile. here is a look back on some of the highlights of 2006.

West Texas Country Music Star (TBA) will be recording “All That I Am” by David Worby and Bobby Carmichael, for his upcoming CD.

Hot new Latin recording artist, Aura, (Warner Brothers, Portugal) is recording two of David's songs in Spanish for her upcoming CD release.

David launches new Publishing Company, “I’m Not Mozart Music” to manage and promote the growing catalog of 33 songs (and counting).

Jaid Barrymore has teamed up with David to work on completing the script for his movie project, Rym and the LDs, starring: Ice-T, Snoop Dogg, Aaron Carter, Michael Winslow and Li'l Romeo. David is also working on the soundtrack for "Rym and the LDs"

David's song "Tell Me Why" has been signed to a publishing contract with Cherry Lane Music, one of the world's leading independent music publishers.

Between 9/5/06 and 9/19 David has been featured on 60 Minutes, CNN's Anderson Cooper show, NBC News, Good Morning America, WB 11 News and News 12 as well as the PBS documentary New York Voices and the Sundance documentary Dust to Dust: The Health Effects of 9/11.
